When you think the maintenance of a marine tank may be more work that you can manage, perhaps this is the way forwards.

That's gorgeous  :)

I've not crocheted anything for ages. I wonder if there are patterns for things like this, or if it's just clever people making them up.

Isn't it amazing.  :afro

A friend from Cardiff sent it to me. She's very in to her crafting, and does a lot of crochet and knitting. She has previously knitted me an adorable sheep, and an axolotl face complete with fluffy gills. She says the fish tank is beyond her capabilities, but I'll ask her where she got the picture from, and if there were any patterns available.

 :)

Thank you  :)

I'll have to download some patterns. I crocheted a lot of baby clothes back 40 years ago, and the odd thing for me, but the things I really enjoyed were mats made from crochet cotton; my mother gave me books of patterns she inherited from my grandmother. They've all gone now as white cotton discolours over time.

Well, perhaps it's time to get the crochet hooks out again.  :)

Absolutely gorgeous, and so are those on the pinterest link. I have so much admiration for folk who have the creative skills to make these.
