Hi All

My tanks are currently between 26 and 27C but as i am thinking of Corys they need a lower temperature depending on type. Is lowering the temperature say 1C a day ok? Dont want to shock the fish.

Yes lowering the temperature like that will be absolutely fine, in the wild fish can be subject to more extreme temperature fluctuations due to depth of a lake, or rainfall into rivers etc. you should have no problems.
