Peach coloured half moon betta

I have finally taken some photos of the betta I bought a month and a half ago. Of course most of them turned out to be unusable - nice photos of the plants with a peach blur in front of them. But a couple of photos were OK. I had to use a mirror to make him come to the front of the tank, and this also made him flare his fins out nicely.


Meet peach betta  :)

I don't give them names.....

He's gorgeous!  I was very tempted the other day by a really stunning Plakat at MA but I am still recovering from the horrors of owning Stanley (RIP) so I'm not ready to go there again. :yikes:

He is beautiful Sue. If he were mine I would call him Monte ( del monte- peaches!!!)  :P

Lovely fish, all the bettas I've seen in the LFS are always dark coloured I haven't seen a peach one before.

He was the only unusual colour in the shop when I got him, the rest were all blue or red, or blue and red, though there were some pretty butterfly patterned ones in blue with a white edge to the fins. He was the one my husband spotted straight away and said I had to get.


I did get worried over Easter weekend as he spent all one day lying on the bottom squashed up under the edge of the wood. I did a water change and next day he was his usual inquisitive self. I have no idea what happened that day but it did give me a fright  :o

Lovely fish! I personally find my Betta to be very lazy- he's constantly giving me a fright!

Ah, but you didn't see the ones I had to delete. There were only two decent photos out of about 50  ;D
