Hi All.
Is it just me or is the "Saved Tanks" facility on the Community Creator not working? :(
I can't seem to log in. Every time I try, it asks if I have forgotten my password and tells me that it will email a link to change my password. This never happens and I am sure that I am using the correct password anyway.
I first noticed this a couple of months ago, but thought no more of it. I now have four tanks up and running and want to "play around" with them. :D
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ian.

I've just gone to the CC and logged in with no problems. I use the same log in details as for the forum (email and password) so I don't forget which is which. But if I click log in without entering my email and password I too get the forgotten your password page.
Have you entered your email and password on the CC page to get to your saved tanks? You do have to log in each time you visit the CC and it automatically logs you out quite quickly, even if you click remember me. If you take a while to enter fish, researching between each species, you may even have to log in again every time you want to enter a fish.

Hi Sue.
That was a quick reply. :)
I've just realised what I have done. It had defaulted to my "Notungz" nickname instead of my email address. I just changed it to my email address and it has worked fine.
Thanks.

I was doing something else when I had an email from thinkfish saying there was a new post, hence the speedy reply :D I'm taking a few moments for myself, which I have had little time to do recently.
Glad you've found out what was going wrong.

I have had the same 'forgot password' message since registering with the site. I've not been able to save a community tank setup as I keep getting the same message :(

Amlaikin, how are you signing in to the community creator? The CC has a separate sign-in from the forum and the first time you want to save your tank you have to register for the CC. It needs your email address (not forum user name) and a password - I use the same password as the forum as I'm easily confused ;D
There is also a small glitch that even when you tick remember me, the CC logs you out automatically after quite a short time.
