Title: Small mites on glass
Post by: Peppersj on July 01, 2013, 10:15:56 PM
Hello,
I have a problem with tiny white mites on the glass. I have read that these can be caused by over feeding but as yet I haven't introduced any fish. Does anyone have any other ideas? Or are they perhaps not a problem?

If they are like tiny worms, they are planaria which are the sign of over feeding. Of thy are not worms, I don't know - and it is impossible to photograph tiny things for ID. But don't worry, once you do have fish, they usually eat tiny things, planaria or something else. It's the bigger things that cause concern - things fish sized or bigger.

And welcome to the forum  :)
