Title: Howdy
Post by: herder79 on August 11, 2013, 06:49:19 AM
I have been researching tropical fish aquaria like crazy the past week. I snagged a 5 gal eclipse corner FREE and have planted it and plan to put a Betta in there. When I get more room I have a 10 gal and a 40 gal hex just WAITING for some fish. I have been keeping land hermit crabs for the past year and a half and fish seem similar but present a whole new set of complications. I kept fish as a kid of course, knowing nothing about the nitrogen cycle and listening only to the advice of pet store people. So awesome to have these forums now so I can do a better job.

Hi herder

5 galls is perfect for a betta   :D

It sounds like MTS (multiple tank syndrome, not malaysian trumpet snails) has infected you before you've got your first fish; that's fast  ;D.
