Here is a quick at-a-glance guide on creating new topics here at ThinkFish.
The guide also shows how to incorporate images and YouTube videos into your posts (or "Embedding" as the Technobuffs call it).
You will first need have an account with an Image hosting site such as Imgur, Photobucket or Imageshack (other hosting sites are available 8) ) I have added links to Imgur and Photobucket below

Please feel free to add any suugestions/feedback here. Cheers

It is also possible to add photos from you computer by using the "Attachments and other options" button below the reply box, although this adds them at the bottom of the post rather than in the text. This method does have a size limit and may require editing of the photo.

I will update this post to reflect this process Sue, thanks for reminding me. I seem to remember @ColinB (I think it was him anyway) saying you can simply edit the attachment code so that you don;t need to resize the image before attaching it. Once I have figured this out I will post the update.

Once you've entered it in the main post, feel free to delete my post so the thread looks nice and tidy :)

[ img width=400 ]piccie address[ /img ]
This gives you a decent size, don't go over 800... just remember to remove the spaces next to the brackets for it to work.

Just an update on photo hosting websites -
Photobucket has now banned third party hosting (eg using the site to post photos on Thinkfish) unless the Photobucket member had taken out the highest level of subscription. with lower subscription levels or a free account, instead of the image there is just an icon saying you are now breaking their rules.
