Curved spine

Hi,

I'm sorry to have to ask for your help again but two of our fish have developed curved spines and I'm not sure what's causing it. One of the tetras and one of the guppies. The Tetra looks worse than the guppy but the guppies in general look a bit sorry for themselves too. They're all quite active but just look...I don't know how to describe it but they just look a little rough round the edges. The tetras in general look ok, albeit they are all different sizes.

Has anyone any idea what might be causing this?

Bent spines in guppies are also a symptom of in breeding.

Are the tetras neons? As biffster says, curved spines can be a symptom of neon tetra disease, and other symptoms to look for include the red stripe looking bleached; the blue stripe developing a yellowy sheen; pointy lumps growing on the abdomen.

Thank you both.

The red stripe does look washed out, blue stripe looks ok, rest of him looks a dull gray black colour. No pointy lumps but at the worst point of the curvature it looks white. Having googled this disease I'm hoping it's not it.
