I’ve always used those magnet algae scrubber thingies until recently when I was recommended the Tetra GS45 and what a revolution it has been for my fishkeeping. He speed at which this thing removes algae is phenomenal…. One quick pass over the glass and it looks like brand new. What’s more it’s safe on the corner silicone as the blade is offset from the holder to avoid this issue (which is what had stopped me getting such a scraper in the past. If you like me thought the magnetic scrubbers are the bees knees I encourage you to give something like this a go. You still won’t need to get your arms wet and you’ll have the job done much more quickly. Highly recommend!!

And it looks like it will remove the nerite eggs off the back wall where I can't reach with my expired credit card scraper!

I'll have to get one.

I'd managed to scrape the nerite eggs off the front and side wall with a piece of rigid plastic but there were still marks where they'd been. This scraper removed even those marks and having a long handle meant I could reach the eggs on the back wall as well where I couldn't reach before.
