Hidom Heaters

Very cheap heaters can be found on the internet, including EBay. Most of these are the Hidom brand, from China. While these seem to work perfectly OK as heaters, no different from any others, they do have a very short cable. If a tank is on a "normal" height stand, and the power outlets are low down, then the cable will be nowhere near long enough. It's about 60 cms shorter than on other heaters I have. So I can only recommend these if you have a very short distance from your power outlet to the tank.

I just did a little search for one and came up with this one on amazon £6.95 just seems incredibly cheap!!
