Title: Fluval 206 external filter.
Post by: Fiona on April 09, 2016, 01:20:45 PM
Easy to set up and maintain. Nice and quiet. Has one hose supplied which you have to trim to fit inlet and outlet.

Only minus is that it doesn't come with a spray bar.

Recommended.

How about the supplied media?
Plenty of room to squeeze in more media, say if you're upgrading or switching from another mature filter?

The top compartment has the polishing pad in it and bagged carbon. I had room to add a bag of fluval clearmax in there.

The supplied fluval biomax which goes in the 2nd compartment, there was plenty of room to add the media from my external filter with space left over.

The other compartment contains a large piece of bio-foam.

Hope that helps.
