I just wanted to share an app I have recently started using called Aquarium Note. I am on android so it's definitely available on the Google Play Store. I would imagine you can get it for Apple devices too(?)
The app gives you a way to:
- set reminders for tasks you need to complete on your tank (water changes, water tests, feeding live foods etc)
- calculate aquarium volume, dosage amounts and CO2 levels etc
- keep a log of your tanks and fish
- log and graph test results
All very useful. :D
The bit that really intrigued me though was the colour calculator used to help decipher water tester colours to obtain a more precise reading by comparing the colour of the tester to the colours on the colour card using the camera rather than human judgement alone. I'm not going to pretend it is accurate by any stretch as there are clearly faults with this method (light shining on test tube for example) BUT I'm always happy to have an additional source of information to help guide my aquarium decision making. 8)
I've included some screenshots below.

That looks really interesting matt what a great find, I am going to download that later and have a play around with it. I am especially intrigued by the colour chart
