Hi everybody , my set up is a 200l freshwater set up that was originally as an amazon biotope set up for a homeschool project I started with my two not-so-little-ones, since we started it in Jan it's evolved a bit so we could plant more plants and possibly broaden our range of fish to similar river types. I've also been overcome with the fishkeeping bug so I've sort of taken it over! So far we have 9 cardinals, 14+red fin tetras, 6 hatchets and about 7 assassin snails with plans for corys and possibly lampeye panchax (if we find homes for our ever growing population of redfins!) and it's planted with crypts, anubis and water lettuce and decorated with scavenged beech, poplar and maple wood, oak and beech leaves and river rock. Red fins are non stop breeding at the moment and Im currently struggling with a plague of blue green algae  :-\

I used to keep fish as a young child/ teen and my first job and work experience were at a LFS  :) and I've kept fish on and off until I had kids 11 years ago.

Looking forward to hanging around here  :D

This is a pic a little while after set up, nothing recent yet  ::)

Welcome. Very envious of a 200-litre tank - oh, to have the space... Sounds good and thanks for letting us see the pic of the tank after set-up too.
