I've just joined and wanted to say a big hello  :wave:

I am new to tropical fish keeping (since Oct. '17) although I have a few years experience keeping comets, goldfish and koi about 20 years ago. I have started with easy fish- mostly platys with a few male guppies and have found them to be much more interesting (sorry if you're a koi person :yikes: )

I look forward to gaining more fishy knowledge and sharing what I know with others.

Greetings HF from another forum newbie...  :) 

I'm near Derby and a regular at Wharf Aquatics up in Pinxton...  My guess is that you'll already know Wharf, but if not then check 'em out...
