Title: Hello all (from Cornwall)
Post by: Wil7985 on October 16, 2016, 05:02:20 AM
Firstly I'd like to thanks for letting me join this forum, I'm looking forward to learning from you all. I have wanted to have a tropical fish for years and now I'm finally in a position to. I have a 60l tank which I completed a fishless cycle with, I've had 4 black neon tetras/4 lemon tetras and 4 tiger barbs in now for two weeks. The local shop said they'd all get on fine which they do.

Welcome

It's nice to see more and more people joining us who have completed fishless cycles  :isay:

We are rather fond of pictures round here if you could let us have a look at your tank?

I'm sure there are also a few people here whod like to hear about how your tiger barbs are getting on a with each other and with their tank mates as they can be tricky little things sometimes... sounds like yours have been a success so time to share your secrets!!

Do you still get lots of power cuts in Cornwall? My experiences are admittedly probably 10 years out of date...!

Welcome, Wil.

Glad all is going well so far (in spite of the ammonia increase as per your other thread but for which Sue has offered excellent advice and will hopefully get you "back on track"), and looking forward to seeing some pics soon.
