Just joined and am looking forward to my new Dwarf Neon Rainbow fish setup. It will be installed when I get my new kitchen finished and ready for the new 60cm Fluval Fresh tank.

Welcome

What other fish do you plan to stock if any e.g. algae eaters, bottom cleaners?
How do you plan to aquascape your tank?
Have you kept fish before?

Excited to hear more about your plans!!

Well!  I think I miscalculated the ammonia as it was very high, then my Gran was rushed to the hospital it was touch and go, still not good. So ended up not being able to sort it out as having to look after my Mam and be taxi to hosp just did not have the time, but its back up and running now and looking good I have put the results in my post "it's done yay". do my next test tomorrow fingers crossed. Hi Barbara
You have been with us a little while. I commend your fish less cycling. A small cheat that may help you. If you have a friend who keeps fish. You could ask them if they would give you, a piece of their filter media or some gravel from the bottom of their tank, to put straight into yours. It would help seed your filter, and speed up the process for you. I know I'm going to get some flack for telling you this, but we should all be helping each other here.

You won't get any flack for saying that because it is a recommended thing to do  :) The only thing to be wary of is the possibility of disease in the donor tank, which is why asking shops for some media can be risky.
