Almost all fish will hide in a new tank. They need to get used to it. But it is impossible to say how long this will take.

Do you have lots of decor in the tank? This will encourage them to come out as they'll know there is somewhere to hide if they perceive danger. Since wild angels have vertical stripes, this indicates they come from water with vertically growing plants.

But I should warn you that 3 is not a good number. If it turns out you have a male and a female that decide to pair up, they will bully and could even kill the third. Keep an eye out for that.
