i dont know about sharing my house with a GSD lol
i have had three over the years my first was Conan
he was a big lad but i had to have put to sleep at seven
years old due cancer then there was Rex he was a blue/back
GSD he was a very clever dog and was very helpful to me
when i became disabled he helped me a great deal not only
coming to terms with it but helping me by fetch and bringing
things for me he was never taught he picked it up all by himself
as we went a long he was 11 and a half when he past of a stroke
it was very sad day when he passed .seven moths later we got Horace
his kennel club name is hazel grove Valentino he as a pedigree as long as
both arms and a leg he is a big softy really but if any one was to have ago
he would take them out he is very protective towards his mum and dad and
will do anything to help them he is learning as we go along he is a good lad most
of the time but can be naughty when he wants to be i wouldnt have him any other
way

What an excellent Kc name biff!!!  We had a pedigree cat once, a somali ( you'd like him Brian, he was fluffy too!) his name was kalinzu baroque. We called him Sambora.  He was beautiful but he got hit by a car. Luckily he was killed out right. RIP sam sam.

Nicko has  a metal plate in his hind leg, don't know what he did to it but he came home one day with one leg all curled up underneath him and his paw had swollen to the size of a labradors. He had shattered his hock joint, which in cats is only the size of your little finger nail, and they had to pin the entire joint so it became fused. He now cant flex his ankle and limps but he is super fast when he wants to be!!!

German Sheppard's are great dogs.

Here's Bentlie - admiring himself on the computer screensaver a fair few years back. He's getting on a bit now at 13/14 (he was a rescue dog so we're not sure of his exact age) but he's still going strong.
