Water condition

Help please

I have a 35 ltr tank measuring 32cm X 38cm X38cm with 1 zebra (4cm), 3 neons (2.5cm) and 3 X (not sure) at 3cm.
I usually do a partial water change every 3 to 4 weeks, (9 ltr's). I have just checked the ph and hardness with the following results:
Hardness = 800 p.p.m and P.H. level at 7.5
I live in Melbourne Australia so I presume our tropical fish come from Asia.
A few snails are creeping in so I syphon them out during partial water change.
I have a overhead filter fitted and plastic plants.
Are my hardness and P.H. levels OK ?
Can I introduce a couple of more zebra's for the other's company ?

eeeek - that's not water, that's liquid rock! That gives a GH of 44º which I've never heard of being that high before. I live in a hard water area in the UK and my GH is 16º.

Neon Tetras originally come from the Amazon basin, but they're all tank bred now. They prefer softer water.

So, errrr, without being rude, are you sure that's what your hardness is? If so, it'd be a good idea to slowly reduce that.
