Title: Pre - soaking wood
Post by: pollydoodle on May 22, 2018, 07:44:28 PM
I bought some wood decoration at the aquatics shop.  I know I have to soak it, not sure if it is bog wood or something else.  It is too big to go in a bucket. (Odd, interesting shape)  can I soak it in my open water butt and then rinse it off or is that a big no no.

Is there a 'like' or 'thank you'  icon to acknowledge everyones kind replies.  They are much appreciated

There's a like icon at top of each post just under the title.

I give wood a quick rinse/clean and then float it in the tank it's going into...

I've also known people to soak wood in the bath  ;D

Ah, yes, that was when I was re-working the dwarf puffer tank.  :)
