Title: New additions
Post by: Gav on October 21, 2014, 09:27:13 PM
Well after deciding I wanted 5 banded barbs next in the tank I changed my mind again as whilst I was in the shop I came across these little guys and couldn't say no.They're Bentosi white fin tetras, I hadn't seen them before and they're not on the fish profiles on the community creator. I'm well impressed with them, they're like tiny little sharks when they've got their dorsal fin right up and they're settling in really well with my cardinals.

They are super little fish'!!!!! I must confess to being just a tiny bit jealous of your photographic expertise. I have trouble getting anything in focus, even it's keeping still'!!!!!!!  :D

My fish have just informed me they would like to move into your tank!!!!  It looks amazing!! :)

Ha ha, thank you. Once I get a few more in there I think I'll be near it's limit I'm afraid though.

Photography is another hobby I enjoy as well as mountain biking so I often shoot fast moving bikes so as long as the fish stay still for a few moments they're not too bad to snap in comparison. Still can't get a decent pic with my phone though  ;)

Nice looking fish  ;D

Are they these (http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species/hyphessobrycon-bentosi/)? If they are, Seriously Fish says they are closely related to rosy tetras, which are in the fish profiles. You could substitute them in the community creator.

Yes, that's the ones. They've certainly got some character.  :D

My local MA has about 20 of those in a big planted-up display tank - they look fab!
