I have read somewhere about gluing plants onto rocks and stuff, is there a certain glue needed ?

I haven't started my planting yet but I've bought some natural cotton which is a very similar colour to the bogwood I have in the tank.

That's my plan, because it's natural cotton it will eventually decompose and the plant will be left rooted in place.

Cyanoacrylate glue is fine in a fish tank. You just need to read the glue label to make sure that it what it is.
