Title: How to catch fry
Post by: bferg4 on January 24, 2015, 07:04:47 PM
Just wondering the most effective and safest way to do this. I'm going to move my baby Kribs fairly soon as the parents are showing breeding behaviour again, but not entirely sure on the best method to do this.

Thanks.

One method I've read about is using airline tubing to siphon up very small fry. For bigger fry, you could try herding them into a glass jar, chasing them in with a net.

I read about the siphon method but I'm not too keen on the idea if I'm honest. The fry aren't huge, but they are at a size where their fins are pretty visible if that makes any sense. I think I'll go with trying to herd them into a glass jar. Thanks!
