How long do I run an air pump for

I have an Ehiem air pump which I turn on when I get up and off when I go to bed.
Should it be left on all the time or is it ok as it is?

It’s best to leave it on if possible. Oxygen levels overnight can be lower than during the day. Especially if you have live plants. The surface agitation caused by the bubbles will help keep the oxygen levels up.
