Hello again, thanks to the advice gratefully received on my first post I've been playing around with the community creator to decide what fish to add as tank mates for my Cardinals. The tank is a 90l Fluval Roma with 6 plants and a large bit of bog wood, although I plan to add another piece wood and a couple more plants.
How does this sound?
10 x Cardinal Tetras (already in)
6 x Pentazona (5 banded) Barbs, these will probably be next
1 x Dwarf Plec
2 x Butterfly Cichlid/Rams. I'm hoping these will add something a bit different if they are suitable...
The community creator doesn't throw up any warnings with this but wondered what others thought.
Thanks for reading and any other options/ ideas/ constructive criticism are most welcome :)

Sounds like a good choice. There are quite a few varieties of Dwarf Plec so it's best to know exactly which one you're getting.
I've got nine 5-band barbs and I love 'em to bits. They seemed a bit less happy when I had five of them, and immediately settled when I added four more.
Rams can be very sensitive.... have a look at Bolivian Rams. Very similar - but tougher. Neither should be added to your tank 'till is good and mature, which is about six months.
These are just a few thoughts.

Don't Bolivians get quite a bit bigger than their counterparts though? Just thinking that they could bust the stocking capacity?

Thanks for the suggestions. As I'd only be looking at getting two Rams it would help keep the stock lower and I could add a couple more Barbs to keep them happier.

Good plan. DBaggie's right about the size, but you shouldn't really be planning on having a tank where a 6cm difference in fish after six months pushes your tank over the edge. If you're going to go with rams of either sort, then after six months you'll have a good handle on your tank so you'll be able to make that decision then.

Yes a good point. I've plenty of time to decide and no doubt change my mind a few more times :))
I'm 90% sure it'll be the 5 banded Barbs next anyway
