Hi
Ember tetras were all very panicky & in a frenzy this morning when I went to feed them. Then I noticed these teeny white blobs. Eggs???? Sorry photo isn't the best - awkward place. Not sure why it's on it's side?! :-\
Any advice please?
Thanks :)

They do look like eggs - snail eggs. Are the white blobs encased in a clear jelly? Some snails lay their eggs in a blob of jelly but fish don't. The eggs in your photo look like the eggs laid by a snail that came into my tank with a plant (a bladder snail) and I think ramhorns also lay eggs in jelly, though I've never noticed it with the tiny ramshorns I've had for years (too small I think).
If they aren't in jelly, they could be tetra eggs, though if they are I'd expect them to be eaten quite fast.

Ha ha thanks Sue! I had a feeling they may be snail eggs but they are so tiny they just look like pure white blobs. Actually they must be in a jelly as otherwise they couldn't be hanging off some of the leaves & sides. Oh no, not more snails! :o
Was a bit worried as it's PWC day....
