Hi All, Do different types of corydorus shoal happily together, or do they show a distinct preference for their own kind ? I have just purchased five julii and there was a single example of three other types left in the shop, which I am considering buying.

They need to be in a group of their own species. In desperation, lone specimens of some speices will shaol with a different one, but they will not be as happy as they would be with others of the same species. By happy, I mean not stressed from thinking the other members of its own species have been eaten by something that is coming to get it next.
