Hi all.

So I was looking at getting a few Panda Corys for my 70 litre tank, thing is I have medium (black and white, my daughters choice!!) gravel. Average 1cm-50mm each. The more I read about Corys is that they like fine gravel !
Is this gravel going to be damaging the pandas barbs? If so then what would anyone recommend as a good, bottom feeder for this tank. Would refer a few of the same type but not essential.

70 litres
Undergravel Filter
Community tank
Peaceful fish
Artificial plants

The problem is going to be the filter. It needs gravel and nearly all bottom feeders prefer sand.

How do you feel about shrimps? They would be OK with gravel, and they do come in different colours. My cherry shrimps can certainly be described as bottom feeders, and they would show up well on black and white gravel. I do realise that some people don't like shrimps though......

Shrimps are fascinating creatures.

I would love to get some but I'm afraid my Tiger Barbs would eat them up.

They look great!
Just trying to find somewhere that sells the cherry shrimps. . good thing is I was going to buy some cherry barbs so they would look nice as well!
