Aquarium heater

I have an Aqua One heater which was supplied with my tank, but the instructions don't tell me whether it should be totally submerged, or left with the top sticking out of the water, which it is at the moment, so I would be glad if someone could advise me please
Thank you

Is there a line anywhere on the heater, usually on the plastic top part rather than the glass? It could be a straight line or a wavy line. With the heaters I've had that line is the lowest the water should be.

My betta's tank is an Aqua One and the instructions that came with that were somewhat limited.

To give a little peace of mind here... I've never known a heater than couldn't be fully submerged.  That is to say I suspect it is waterproof and won't go bang if submerged!

I decided to email Aqua One and have just had a reply to the effect that the heater can be fully submerged. A little job for me after my baby sitting duties have done for the day 😊

I've always found manufacturers to be helpful when you email them  :)
