Angel fish breeding??

Hi everyone, im new to the group today!
I bought my fish tank about a year ago almost.
Some fish i got with the tank, two are Angel fish, by chance they regulary breed.
I also got given another pair who have also started breeding.
BUT i can not keep the babies alive once free swimming.
Ive tried keeping with parents but eventually they get eaten by other fish, ive tried a floating tank but once swimming they swim in and out of the slits in the side, so again that dont work, ive tried a net that sits on side on tank, but the get slurped through the netting  :-[
Ive tried a seperate nursery tank, in which all were swimming happily , then lost the lot by the next day.
I just dont know what to do anymore .
Can anyone offer advice please.

Any tank mates will make short work of eggs and fry. The parents may defend them but they can't chase more than one fish each at once, leaving the eggs/fry exposed to fish number three. Even if you put a breeding pair alone in a tank, cichlids commonly eat their eggs and fry for the first few spawnings. They seem to need to learn how to be parents.
When you put the fry in a nursery tank, how did you feed them? They need things like baby brine shrimp when they first become free swimming, and I raised some apistogramma fry on microworm.

Sorry I'm not much help, I'm afraid I've only had apistogrammas spawn in my tanks. I only had fry survive when I had them alone, and even then I had to remove the male to stop him eating the fry.

They arent eating them themselves now.
But how do i keep them alive once free swimming in a seperate tank?
I was feeding the bottled egg layer liquid as couldnt get brine babies, and i bought the sachet one but nothing came?

I think I read something somehwere that the feeding reflex is triggered by movement with cichlid fry, in which case things like liquifry won't help. I used microworms for my apisto fry - very cheap to buy on ebay, you just start your own culture with the spoonful you get in the post. Later, I also used something called just 'fry food' which I also got off ebay from a cichlid breeder - like a very fine powder and I suspect it could be decapsulated brine shrimp eggs. I soaked that in a small amount of tank water then squirted it in front of the fry with a small pipette.
