Hmm, I wonder. It is an established fact that doing a water change with water cooler than the tank can stimulate some fish to spawn. That's because it simulates spring causing the snow and ice upstream to melt and bring cooler water down to lower levels. It is well known for cories to spawn after a cool water change particularly if it is timed to coincide with low air pressure. We have just experienced quite a large air temperature drop, which will result in cooler tank water as well. Maybe we'd all better watch our fish to see what happens 



My husband is looking forward to the soil under the front lawn rehydrating and expanding back to meet the edge of the drive.
