I noticed this morning that one of the shrimp had shucked it's casing.
I'e been out since 10am this morning and just got back and it is still sitting on the moss.

There was a reddish shrimp close by to it this morning but I didn't think it could be that one and that's disappeared anyway.

I have still only seen a max of 7 of the 12, but I haven't seen any dead bodies and all water parameters are perfect.

They don't always eat the exoskeleton. I usually have at least one in the bucket when I check it for siphoned up shrimps. They could, of course, be newly shed skins, but I've never actually seen any of my shrimps in the act of eating one.
