Pros - getting exactly what you want from someone who knows how to look after shrimps
Cons - cost of postage, acclimatising them to your water.

A few members have bought mail order shrimps so hopefully someone will come along to tell you how they got on and which shop they used.

Hi AdyDnt,

I've used pro shrimp a few times now. I got 10 crystal reds and 2 fire shrimp from there, plus plants and minerals etc. for my shrimpery.
As Sue says, there's the postage and acclimatising to consider, but apart from that I can honestly say that the shrimp themselves are really good quality.
The other thing I like about pro shrimp is the customer service. The guy who runs it, sebastian, is very patient and always on hand to answer any queries, before and after you get your shrimp.
The products (live and not live) are packaged very well and they arrive very quickly after ordering – even up here in scotland.

I don't have shares in this company – honest! – but I do think they're very good.   :)

If you want to use pro shrimp you may have to wait a couple of weeks. When you go to their site a message pops up saying they are moving premises though they will still post things in stock, though other things will have to wait till mid July. However, most shrimp seem to be out of stock.

There's always Sharnbrook shrimp if you are in a hurry  ;)

OOps, sorry, I hadn't seen that. Also worth exploring is your local Facebook group. I got 20 red cherry shrimp for £8 from a local breeder that way. :)
