As per the title really, I just got asked this on Instagram and am still thinking about my answer but keen to hear (and hopefully get a cheap laugh out of ;) ) how others would answer this question!?
-
Wow, so much choice. ;D
Lots to think about.

I'm going to go with the first think that leapt to mind - dwarf puffer (male).
Why - fine in a group, but the male retreats to their own territory when they want to.
Not the best looking fish, but slightly weird looking in a cute way.
Bright and inquisitive. Endlessly fascinated by everything.

I like it!
The person who asked me said a puffer - because they are “fun, cute and different”

So what aquatic creatures are on your list for consideration?
-
I’ve just settled on corydoras because I’m one of those people who likes to constantly graze on food (and never seems to gain weight as a result) ::)

One of my peppered corys has a habit of keeping her eyes completely fixed on you when she is feeding.
I've also witnessed several different ones dive into the sand all the way up to their eyes when looking for food.
They are great fish.
It's at times like this that I look around and think "perhaps I have too many corys", but then I realise that you can never have too many corys. ;D
