Hi, just wanted to pop on here to say a BIG thank you to everyone who gave me such great advice and help, recently, when one of my platys wasn't well. Still not sure quite what the problem was (probably combination of things), but as a newbie fish keeper, it really helped me to take some swift action (which I was a bit nervous of overdoing previously). Bigger gravel clean (also removed quite a bit), Bigger water changes, Bigger plants (they love the silk ones I got, which are a great substitute for the real ones I was having trouble with before), and of course the peas! All in all, everyone seems really good right now, fingers crossed :). We are going to get a bigger tank set up for them, though, as we now realise we're overstocked in the 38L. Thanks again everyone!

Hi Ellen
I'm really glad things seem to be improving in your fishy world...it can all be a worry sometimes, and it's surprising just how attached you can become to those pesky little fishies ;)
Great news that you are getting a bigger tank, it usually happens that people do....very addictive, this hobby!
Don't forget to let us know when you do and post some piccies for us nosey folk :-[
