Come on then...

Size?
Capacity?
What's going in it?

I can't wait to make a start on my next tank  :fishy1:  :fishy1:

80x40x70. Capacity seems to be 100 as not filled right up to the waterline. Species to be ascertained. Pics of set-up to follow shortly.

Good things come to those who wait. :)

OK - I come clean... it's a toy aquarium. Unit of measurement for dimensions and capacity of the tank deliberately omitted; they're actually mm and ml respectively.
:rotfl:

Fishless cycle has been able to be done in a fraction of the time and fish are now in the tank. Unfortunately, they seem to be sitting on the bottom and look in need of a dose of eSHa 2000. [Have tried uploading a pic, complete with fish, but seem to have gone over the capacity allowed! Edited to add: pic shrunk and should upload this time.]

Unfortunately, I think it would take a miracle to create the space required for a real 100-litre tank, so this little toy will have to suffice in the interim...

Hahahahahaha!  :rotfl:

I'd probably just about be able to squeeze a tank that size into my house too.  ;)

Very good! I think the poor tropicals would suffer from heart failure if they saw that huge predator, though.

The fish seem to be doing quite well this morn - no longer sitting on the bottom but I dare say the overstocking will take its toll very shortly.

Very pretty. As you clearly have one of each sex, have you considered what you'll do if they breed?  ;D

I'll have to say that little impulse purchase has been worth its money, both in terms of its 'cute' factor (and substitute for a real second tank) but also in terms of this thread - I did chuckle when I set up the thread and particularly when I read Littlefish's and Fiona's responses.

I was genuinely thrilled for you as I know you were struggling to persuade the other half.  :raspberries I then got very confused looking at the tank in the enlarged image as I couldn't find your filter.  ::) I actually carefully went over it several times  :rotfl:

Well, well, well - who'd have thought?! I actually need to do a weekly water change on this toy fishtank; if not, the fish don't stay afloat! I wonder if this is some coincidence or whether there's a scientific explanation...
