***Talks to self***   Yes, the blue-coloured shrimp advertised on the LFS website may be very tempting but, no, probably not a wise idea. The two female tetras would no doubt harass them in the way they used to stalk the pygmy cories when they were foraging for food, the shrimps may even frighten or intimidate the two little harlequins who I'm very protective of, and I'd already decided "no" to invertebrates due to the potential horror of discovering a partially-/fully-eaten fish if one were to be dying/dead. Stop thinking about them and go and create some space for a potential second (real) tank for fish...

Hmmm. We're going on an outing somewhere one day this week. Decided to google LFSs in the area, purely out of interest (ahem), but realise that, if we took a different route than the most conventional one, we'd pass 3 LFSs on that one route. Ought I to set the sat nav to go via that route, I wonder..? :P

Well, you never know, if there are road works (not sure we can create them, but a few cones should do) on the conventional route it would be better to take the other route.

If you're the driver you can go which ever way you choose and stop when ever you want. "Who's queen?"

Agreed. If the passenger doesn't approve of the route - "off with his head".

Unfortunately, I'll not be able to drive. However, over dinner, the route came up in conversation, and I started looking a bit shifty while mentioning the alternative route. :-[ The immediate comment was "I know you too well - there are clearly fish shops on that alternative route... yes, that's absolutely fine with me!"
  ;D

There is just the slight problem of no space whatsoever, so I'd better get working on that first!
