Hiya everyone, you might remember a post about one of my sickly corys which I nursed back to health and returned him to the main tank. Then a few weeks later I reported that he didn't make it as I was one cory short and assumed the wee guy gave up the ghost and was consumed by his fellow tank mates as no evidence was found...……

.......but no evidence found as he wasn't dead  :yikes: how wrong could I be HE STILL LIVES  :rotfl:

They are really difficult to spot in the undergrowth but got a different pellet which brings them out instantly into a cory feeding frenzy and spent the last few days doing a cory head count and yep they are all still in there! Can't believe how happy that makes me  ;D

Yeah really can't believe it, I'd counted them so many times afterwards and there was always one missing or should I now say hiding  :fishy1:

That's great news!!! Especially when its one you have nursed back to health  ;D

By the way, what pellets did you use to induce the cory feeding frenzy??

Yeah well chuffed ;D

They had been getting fish science corydoras tablet food, but the new one is vitalis catfish pellets and they do come out in seconds, main problem is getting it to the bottom fast enough so everyone else doesn't eat them, numerous tatics have been adopted to acheive this.

Ditto on enjoying the happy ending to the Lazarus story...  :) 

Might give that Vitalis Catfish Pellets a try myself...  I have four Ornatus Cories and they are a bit reticent when it comes to dining in public - also on the Fish Science Tablets...
