Title: Food
Post by: Kirstos on October 31, 2013, 01:50:43 PM
Hi guys

I have recently added some yoyo loaches to my 240l tank. They are active but ignore the flake food I feed the other fish and I dont want them to starve! If anyone has kept yoyo loaches and can advise me I would appreciate it. Other than that, have you guys had any experience of different types of foods like freeze dried, tetra gel foods and frozen that your fish really seem to like?

Thanks!

My dwarf chain loaches go mad over nutrafin max sinking tablets (http://uk.hagen.com/Aquatic/Nutrition/Premium/A6750). I have to break the pellets into pieces so they can each get a bit, and they click while they are eating it. They don't even click over bloodworms!

Any sinking pellets should be fine for them, as well as live (or frozen live) food.

Spot on Sue thanks. I got some pellets specifically for loaches but they ignore them completely!  ;)
