Fish Back From The Dead!

  So I lost my firemouth about 2 weeks ago somewhere in my 125 gallon. After taking all the ornaments out and checking everywhere I pretty much resigned to the fact he may have died and been eaten. I was quite puzzled and upset as all my water was correct and tankmates were not aggressive...... 2 weeks later I get a call at work from my boyfriend. He tells me that Gibbs is back! I have not seen him out eating or anything but I get home to find him swimming around like nothing has happened haha So freaked out! Where the heck did he go! ? He even looks bigger!

He is the only firemouth and he is usually really active, never hides! Always been bold, which is why i suspected the worst lol He is about 2 and a half inches.

The only thing i can thing of is that he was in my huge piece of driftwood, i think it has a few holes underneath it? But i took it out tho and checked it haha I am glad he is back anyway. I wonder, has anyone else had this experience with a similar fish?
