Breeding Rasbora - A Potentially Useful Tip

Anyone wanting to attempt to breed rasbora might find the following tip helpful which I discovered inadvertently.

After propagating the plants and wanting some foliage higher up in the tank to provide shelter, I re-purposed a few unused food/feeding clips by attaching a dried banana leaf to them. The result has been a lot of frenetic behaviour in true espei/harlequin style ie upside down and circling antics under the leaves. Any fry will no doubt be eaten but, given the frequency of such behaviour in the tank in recent weeks (think the younger female has reached maturity so now both the older and younger female have the 3 males in hot pursuit of them), who knows...
