Hello all. I'm a dwarf puffer and my human tends to call me Tiny. I was the smallest puffer in the first batch that she brought home. I got quite friendly with one of the others and we spent a lot of time swimming around together. Just a minute, my human wants to comment -
"it was adorable, the size difference was so cute" - well, thanks, but how's about spending less time commenting and drinking coffe, and more time getting our breakfast. Bless her, although she always greets us and all the other tank inhabitants every morning, she always starts with her coffee rather than our breakfast. Talk about misplaced priorities
. Anyway, my friend has developed into quite a stunning young lady and I am still very fond of her. She gets a lot of attention from the other males, especially to two biggest, who often squabble over her and the other young lady. I tend to use this squabbling time, and my own swift, ninja-like moves to get in there while they are distracted and spend some time with her. It's quite a platonic relationship, but I know I haven't been "friend zoned", I just like to give her a bit of a rest from the sort of attention that the dominant males give her, and we have a catch up and a potter around the tank together. We have been told that the two other puffers (Sherbon and Humbug) in the tank at the other end of the room will join us when we get our bigger tank delivered and set up. I hope that Sherbon and Humbug are ladies. I know it can be impossible to tell when we are young, but I swear that there must be another dwarf puffer tank somewhere in our region, full of dwarf puffers bought from the same MA that we came from, which is all females, with two very happy but slightly exhausted males.
