Any Body Keep Or Kept Big Fish

i used to keep big fish cichlids pacus common plecs
i had several cichlids ranging between 14 to 17 inches
from jack Dempsey to quetzal cichlids also had a huge
pair of pacus 30 inches and a pair of common plecs
at 30 inches i used to have clarias catfish i sold all my
big fish off to a lad who used to find fish for the big public
aquariums so i know they went to a good home saying
that he kept the clarias catfish as he said they where a pair
and he was on about breeding them i will no longer have big
fish i would like big tanks again but this time filled with loads
of small fish and L numbers I LOVE ME
after 43 years of fish keeping you should think so but it as not been
without it ups and downs some of them been very testing and trying
and some of them very upsetting i remember losing everything when
i was made bankrupt that is so upsetting when you see everything you have
put your heart and soul in to it all the time spent on breeding projects all the time
spent on getting water quality right i cried for a month just thinking about them taking
all my time and effort . gone never to return 

It never is in 43 of fish keeping it as never ever been plain sailing
no matter how hard you try it is never straight forward
things can make it easier 

8x3x3 5x3x2 5x2x2 5x18x15 4x2x2 and i had loads of small ones

a room right in the middle of my old house one small window at head height
but i had tanks all over the house even up stairs in the bed room that was where the
beta breeding groups were
