Aggressive Firemouth

I have a 2inch firemouth in a 125 gallon with some clown loach, acara and a black ghost knife fish. No one is crowded but the firemouth keeps picking a fighting with the black ghost knife.Is there anything i can do? Will he mellow out with age or get worse? I have re arranged the tank which hasnt sorted the problem. Maybe more pipes for bgk?
