A quick tale of caution!

I pruned the plants in my big tank yesterday afternoon and had to remove a couple of leave from my Java Fern as they have gone brown.

When I fixed my Java Fern to my drift wood I tied in on with brown cotton and some of this obviously worked itself loose while I was trimming and fiddling, as later on after feeding I noticed one of the GL's was staying completely stationRy in the centre of the tank and was breathing really quickly.

On closer investigation I found it had become tangled up in a piece of cotton. I gently untangled it and the fish swam away and hid. She is fine this morning but I thought I' highlight it on the forum to remind us all to keep an eye open for is sort of things after a pruning/fiddling session!!
