Title: What's this insect?

Found this in my tank can the fish eat it(tropical tank) or can I feed it to my betta or should get rid of it, it's only 2cm long have disposed it

It's a damselfly nymph, that means it is the larva of a damselfly. How big is it? These larvae are usually quite big - too big for a betta to eat - so if the one in your tank is small it is only very young.
Personally, I would dispose of it, and any more you may find.

About 2cm long have disposed it, not seen anymore, where do they normaly stay on plants on bottom of tank have vacuumed bottom of tank

They can be anywhere in the tank. People have found them on plants, on the tank bottom, on the glass etc. They can get in your tank on a plant, in live food, or a damselfly could have got into your tank and laid eggs.

I found one in my axolotl tank a few weeks ago. I took it outside and put it in my tub of water hyacinth. Don't want them in any of my tanks, but happy for them to live outside and hatch into something quite attractive.

I've seen a damselfly larvae attack a stickleback in my pond so better be safe than sorry,a good job you got rid of it.
