White streak on penguin tetra fins.

My tetras have slowly developed a white tip/streak on their dorsal and anal fins. Their behaviour is normal, feeding well etc etc.
The strip/tip whitening hasn't made contact with the body and doesn't look woolly so I doubt it is a fungal infection. Could it possibly be a maturity thing?
More puzzled than worried about it.
