THREADFIN RAINBOWS

Hi,this is a bit of a strange one but I thought I'll post anyway.I recently added some threadfins to my tank,as I have no quarantine tank so I thought I'll keep a close eye on them. They seem  to have settled in fine..I noticed that on the largest male which has a black tipped nose there was a white spot of sorts.
The first thing  that came to mind was mouth fungus. So instead of treating I had a look at YouTube and did notice that this could well be its natural markings.Anyone with threadfin experience would be appreciated.
Cheers Dave.  :isay: :isay:

I don't have any experience of threadfin rainbows unfortunately. However, one possibility - only because it's high on my radar as it's happened in my own tank today - is that, if there has been any sparring taking place, it could possibly be an injury.

No it's not raised.I have 6 threadfins and this white mark is only on the largest male.As I said I looked closely on YouTube and did see this marking on some.Which makes me think it's not mouth fungus.
Thks Dave. :isay:
