So i've been thinking about what to put in this tank for about a month and i'm still not entirely sure ad i'd like some unusual looking fish, but this is the list I have at the moment;
* Snakeskin Guppy
* Hatchetfish
* Acre Corydora
* Red Cherry Shrimp
What would you guys fill a 60L with or if you have one already, what do you have inside :) thanks

I have a 50 litre tank with the same footprint as a lot of 60 litre tanks (just not quite as tall) and in mine I have Corydoras pygmaeus, Sundadanio axelrodi (see Axelrod's rasbora in the fish profiles), cherry shrimp and two red nerite snails.
I also like pencilfish, both Nannostomus marginatus and N. beckfordi would be suitable. I would love some N. mortenthaleri but could never justify spending that much money.
I've never seen Corydoras acrensis in a shop. But at 50 to 55mm it might be too big for a shoal in a 60 litre tank :-\

My 60L tanks have various tetras, neon, cardinal, black neon, black phantom, rummy nose, all get on very well at that size. Remember, most small fish like to be in a decent sized group, minimum 6, so don't go for the liquorice allsorts approach, with 1 to 3 of many different types. A shoal of one type looks much better as well.
Hatchet fish prefer a bigger tank and 60L would be too small for a group of 6. They are very nervous fish if not in a group like this.
