Hello all,

Not sure if any cat owners among you are aware of this but apparently fleas are building a resistance to the active ingredient in Frontline (Fiprinol). Because of this it is not as effective at killing fleas.

I have always used Frontline but this year the fleas are winning and we have changed treatments and are going to spray our carpets this weekend.  Obviously I am concerned about my fish and am after advice on how best to protect them.

Moving the tanks is not an option but I have read in my fishlopedia that you can seal the tank with cling film and cover it with towels and that this can be left for about three days without harming the fish?!?

Has anyone else ever had to fumigate a room where there were fish and what did you do to protect the fish??

FC
